bought 2 of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to use for the metal brake I bought at HF and Im very disappointed , even by HF standards. It’s super soft mild steel, and the teeth stripped pretty much right away. quarity work.
I think HF has started to make some decent tools, some more than others...this is old HF for sure.

Ooof that’s a bummer. I love Harbor Freight, but a lot of their stuff is definitely junk.

There’s probably an opening for a blog akin to the site that ran “Here’s what’s great at Trader Joes and here’s what sucks at Trader Joes” features for years.
I swear by HF’s more expensive “deep, impact, grey” sockets and bemoan the shoddy quality of the “shiny, cheap” jacks and “shiny, cheap” socket lines.

That's a pretty good idea for a blog actually!

HF is the first clue. Don’t buy anything from there. It might last 1 task but probably not.

It would be nice to get some “independent dialogue” going about What’s Good and What Sux. I hate to be a cynic but I’m skeptical of their “user reviews’ on their own site.

It would be nice. My wife belongs to a blog about products from Aldi. Something like that for HF would be great.

I don’t expect anything from the Hazard Fart to last more than 2 uses. That being said, I have an angle grinder from there I received as a gift. It has been thoroughly abused and is still chugging along.
